At the request of several electric utilities we have written an advanced workbook (Level 1) specifically designed to keep Trainees in touch with the existing program and introduce them to advanced information.

Advanced workbook tuition is the same as 1 year of the main program. This advanced training is administered similarly to the main program. That is, Trainees study one section at a time; complete the Assignment Sheets and check correct answers in the back of the workbook. They will take "Closed-Book" tests administered by their Training Coordinator, then fax the answer sheet to the MJTS office for grading.

Block VIII - Overvoltage/Overcurrent Protective Devices
Block XI - Power Use
Block XII - Watt-Hour-Meters
Block XV - Orientation
Block XVI - Underground Distribution
Block XVII - Substations

Trainees will be enrolled under their original record #. No additional textbooks are required.
