Apr 12, 2002 - For people interested in our program check the General Information from the Home Page. Soon to be added are the liniar links for those written in bold print. Also, we will be adding an application form which can be printed from the web page. Remember those registering into the program must be working in the electrical trade.

International Activity

Jan 28, 2002 - We want to welcome 15 new Trainees from Bolivia into the 1st year of the Merchant Program. Also, a welcome to 23 Trainees from Honduras into 4th year. Congratulations to Mr. Ignacio Spain from Belize for his completion of the Merchant Program. We recieved the good news from Marisol de Majera, NRECA Guatemala. The certificate and card will go out tomorrow.

UPS Shipping

Jan 24, 2002 - All workbooks are shipped from the MJTS office by 4:00 PM on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Method of Testing

Jan 22, 2002 - Many of you probably already know that we have changed the transformer connections for multiple choice answers. This has worked out well and we are able to make multiple 4th year final tests.
The problem was that the fax quality of the transformer connections was very poor.
Also, please make sure that in any testing that the Trainees take closed book tests. This will assure that they are ready for any advanced material.

Computer Response

Oct 24, 2001 - Training Coordinators may want to pass along the following information to their Trainees. MJTS needs the Trainee record # on the Section Test fax form if they would like a computer assist.

The Web Page

Jun 27, 2001 - We will be maintaining better communications between our office and the Trainees. The "Newsletter" on the Web page will be changed to "News." We will make daily additions and corrections to this page at http://mjts.com/news/.

Instead of newsletters sent on a quarterly basis information will be ongoing.
We will also add information which will direct the Trainees to new assistance added to the internet. Newsletters will be mailed out to Training Coordinators when necessary.
